Whole Roof Refurbishment In Tilehurst Reading
This customer was recommended to us by 2 separate people: a local estate agent and a local plastering contractor. They had recently purchased this bungalow and wanted to know that the roof would be long-lasting and maintenance-free throughout their retirement.
We carried out the following works:

All fascias, soffits and guttering re-newed.

Large flat roof refurbished to include a new 120mm warm roof insulation system and Rubberbond Fleeceback EPDM waterproofing.

All tiles replaced with new Redland 49 tiles and dry ridge, dry verge and dry valleys, meaning no mortar repairs for the future.

Lead flashings replaced to chimney

Extra quilt insulation added to loft ensuring correct ventilation added to main pitched roof.

We installed the single-ply waterproofing on this new extension at a local doctor's surgery. Working with a local building contactor we had to work around the December weather on this job but were happy with the neat and tidy finish and the effective weathering of intricate details.
